These French clients were so enamoured with the history and friendliness of Senglea, that when they found a place to buy, they jumped at the opportunity.

The Brief

They had a strict budget and a short timeline to renovate this livable, yet dilapidated historical townhouse in the center of Senglea. They wanted to keep as many original features as possible, while still respecting l’esprit de l’époque!

What the project entailed

• Replacing thick, patterned plaster with new plaster and painting.

• Installing measures against humidity on the ground floor

• New plumbing and electricity throughout

• Liquid membrane on roof

• Restoration of old existing wood apertures

• Installation of new apertures
